Almond Flour Brownies

- 1 flax egg (1 tbsp faxseed + 3 tbsp water)
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tbsp almond milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup vegan chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line loaf pan with parchment paper.
Make the flax egg. Combine 3 tbsp warm water and 1 tbsp flaxseed in small bowl and set aside.
Mix all the wet ingredients together (almond butter, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract) except the flax egg. When the flax egg has set for 5 minutes and has thickened up, add it to the wet mixture and mix.
Add in all the dry ingredients except chocolate chips to the wet mixture. Mix well.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Pour batter into lined loaf pan. Bake 30-35 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool on wire rack and enjoy!
