Vegan Dark Chocolate Almond Bark

These sugar-free dark chocolate almond pieces are the perfect treat to satisfy your cravings guilt-free. Even though they are vegan, gluten-free and sugar-free, they don’t taste like it at all! Feel free to switch up the almonds with other mix-ins like walnuts, pistachios or dried fruit.

Ingredients

Cacao butter – I get this from nuts.com.

Cacao powder – This is what gives the chocolate its dark chocolate flavor. If you want your chocolate less intense, you can use a little less or use cocoa powder instead.

Powdered monk fruit sweetener – This keeps the chocolate sugar-free but still adds sweetness. If you don’t care to keep the chocolate sugar-free, you can use regular powdered sugar.

Sliced almonds – You can use regular almonds and slice them yourself or you can buy pre-sliced almonds.

Instructions

  1. Melt the cacao butter in a double boiler.
  2. Add in cacao powder and monk fruit sweetener. Mix until blended.
  3. Spread chocolate in a parchment lined loaf pan.
  4. Sprinkle on almonds.
  5. Freeze until set about 2 hours.
  6. Cut or break into pieces. Enjoy!

Storing Instructions

Store chocolate in an air tight container in the freezer for several months.
