These chocolate peanut butter energy bites are the perfect bite sized snack to bring to any party! They are great for a large group because they are dairy-free, vegan and gluten-free*. I made these to bring to a friends and they were gone very quickly so I’d recommend doubling the batch if you plan to share them 😉
*Make sure to use gluten-free oats and oat flour to ensure that these are gluten-free. Technically, oat are naturally gluten-free; however, they may come in contact with gluten-containing grains if you don’t get the oats that specify “gluten-free” on the package.

Ingredient Notes
Peanut butter – For this recipe, you’ll want to use a natural peanut butter that is drippy. I love the Kirkland brand. You can also substitute another nut butter if you’re allergic to peanuts.
Maple syrup – Make sure this is pure maple syrup, not the pancake syrup. You can also use Lakanto maple syrup for a sugar-free version.
Rolled oats – As I mentioned above, if you want these to be gluten-free, make sure to get gluten-free oats and oat flour. While oats are naturally gluten-free, they can become contaminated by other gluten containing grains during processing, shipping or transportation.
Almond flour – I like the texture almond flour gives these bites but if you don’t have it on hand, you can substitute it with more oat flour.
Coconut flakes – Make sure you buy unsweetened coconut flakes. A lot of brands have added sugar in their coconut flakes so be sure to check the ingredients before you buy them.
Vegan chocolate chips – To make sure these are dairy-free and vegan, you need vegan chocolate chips. I like using Enjoy Life Dark Chocolate Chips or Hu No Added Sugar Chocolate Chips.
